Central Brevard Humane Society (CBHS), in conjunction with Space Coast Mardi Gras, is proud to host Paws in the Park, Sun, March 9th, from 1pm - 3pm, at Riverfront Park in Cocoa Village .

A free animal and family friendly event for pet lovers young and young at heart that will include educational rescue group booths, animal-related vendors, pet contests and live entertainment. Also, come see who will be crowned King and Queen Dogs of Mardi Gras and a demonstration from the Brevard Sheriff Department’s Paws and Stripes Cadets.  Owners are encouraged to bring their pets to participate in the Mardi Gras Parade of Pets but all animals must have proof of current shots, a county tag and remain on a leash or in a carrier.

Paws Timeline:

1pm – Event starts (live entertainment throughout the event), registration for pet contests.

1:15pm – Pet contests begin

2:15pm –“Parade of Pets”
